London Mini Guide

London Mini Guide

Welcome back! Before I get into this next guide, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the support on this blog the past few months. It's always been my dream to do this and I feel so lucky. Not only do I get so happy when traveling and exploring new cities, but now I get to write about it and share it with you guys. Knowing that I am able to share something I care about and connect with you guys makes me so happy. Thank you thank you! I love each of you!

I also would love your feedback choosing which city to highlight next, check out my instagram story to help me choose one! https://www.instagram.com/lexxhy/

These mini guides are always free on my website, but if you’re looking for the full guide with 40+ recommendations per city, I’d love for you to join as a subscriber. Hope you enjoy it!

I've been twice and love it more each time! It’s such a fun city to add to a European trip there’s a hint of familiarity mixed with a totally unique culture and energy.

This guide is packed with my personal favorites: local restaurants, vintage shops, and spots you won’t find on a typical list. I’m not trying to act like an expert, just sharing what I loved, what I found through research, and what I’d recommend to a friend!

Disclaimer:

You won’t find the typical tourist spots here. I’m guessing you already have Big Ben and the London Eye covered! This guide is more about the in-between spots: cozy cafés, cool vintage finds, and things I did that that made the trip feel personal. Hopefully a few of them make it onto your list too!

Restaurants

Buns From Home

I love a cinnamon roll! Make sure to go in the morning when they're fresh and you have more options, because they can sell out. They have quite a few locations so save one near you! The custard bun is surprisingly great.

Granger & Co

I'm a sucker for a good scrambled egg and this was great

Jolene Redchurch Street

Pastries to die for! They also recently added pizza to the menu and I'd love to try it, if one of you does please report back <3

Shops

Obviously this is highly dependent on your style! These are just my favorite stores that they might not have in the US.

Peachy Den

Not having to pay for shipping for Peachy Den is my favorite thing ever

Heaven by Marc Jacobs

They have the coolest pieces!

Earl of East

Home goods + trinkets = dream come true

Vintage

London has some amazing vintage stores, and most of them are within the same area. I highly recommend just walking around the streets where these shops are located!

Atika

Multi level vintage shop with something for everyone!

Brick Lane Vintage

Variety of vendors so there is a good range of styles

Serotonin Vintage

90s/YTK vintage! Lots of designer

Things To Do

Obviously you need to do all of the classic london things (london eye, bridge, crown jewel, etc), but here's a few of my other favorite activities:

Barbican Conservatory

Gorgeous greenhouse to hang and stroll!

Hampstead Heath

The view from this park is INSANE! Also check out the swimming ponds in the summer

Electric Cinema

Fun movie theater with good food!

As a reminder, the full guide has over 40+ recs! Make sure to check it out and receive access to all of my other paid posts. Thank you for the support!

Be sure again to vote on my instagram for which city you want to see next!

Xoxo,

Lex
