Mens Gift Guide 2024
Every year, I love putting together gift guides—it’s so much fun to brainstorm thoughtful and unique gifts for everyone in your life and share them with you! I’ve organized a few different categories here so there’s truly something for everyone. Boys can be tricky because they love to say they’re not materialistic, but then they’ll light up over something like a new Porsche Lego set—a little confusing! I hope this guide makes things easier, whether you're shopping for the trendy guy, the hobby enthusiast, or even ideas for your dad or father-in-law. Hope you love it!
The Trendy Guy
This is for the guy who dresses cool, might have a film camera, and probably listens to jeff buckley.

- A hat to a cool boy is like a purse to a cool girl. Nothing that says they're trying too hard but also something that sets them apart. Here's my favorite from Cherry. ($78)
- Clogs! My fiance loves these from Seavees and dresses them up with a sweater or down with a pair of shorts and a tee. I love how they look on him! ($90)
- A nice belt. Subtle foreshadowing but this guy is going to want to wear a pair of baggy jeans that would not stay on his waist without a belt, so get him one that adds to the outfit. This one from Uniqlo great quality and not too expensive. ($29.90)
- Nothing headphones. A cool guys airpods! They have three levels of noise cancellation ($99.99)
- A unique vintage sweater! I get my fiance a vintage sweater from eBay every year and he is always so excited. Don't spend more than $40 on one unless it's designer. Just search "vintage boxy mens sweater" into eBay and you're bound to stumble upon a great one! To get the sizing right, try measuring a sweater that he already wears and matching that to the sizing on the one you're odering.
- Remember that drawstring bag your 5th grade crush used to wear on field trips? This is it's cooler more practical older brother. Uniqlo drawstring shoulder bag ($19.99)
- A boxy hoodie. We all know that gap has made quite the comeback and these hoodies for sure fit into the comeback category. A boxy red hoodie for less than $45? Say less! ($44)
- A cool lego set. Self explanatory. ($170)
- Stussy jacket or a North Face jacket. These are stylish AND practical. ($200)
- An a24 coffee table book or crossword book. We all know your boyfriends favorite app is Letterboxed and this is something that will guaranteed make him tear up if he's a movie guy. Not really but he will smile and hopefully brag to his other movie loving friends. ($25-60)
- Sunglasses! A few great brands: Oakley, Ray Ban, Bonnie & Clyde, and Crap. I thought these Oakley's were so cool!
- Baggy jeans. These are the only pair of clothing I've ever seen my Fiance track their arrival on his phone which must mean they're a good pair. They look vintage but aren't and wash well! He has them in multiple washes and has loved all of them. If he wants them extra baggy, make sure to get the longer inseam. ($70)
- You can't go wrong with a classic pair of converse!
The Hobby Guy
These gifts are for the guy who is always trying a new hobby, into sports - but in a cool way.

- Nice kitchen equipment. The amount of guys who told me they were asking for a pan this year was so surprising. I'd go for this Stainless Steel frying pan or this Cast Iron. He doesn't want an always pan. TRUST! If you're feeling spendy, these knives are amazing. ($129-149)
- Knife ! This one is used for fruit cutting and looks amazing - he'll love it. ($13)
- If he's into health and fitness, I guarantee he's into Colostrum. A safer bet than trying to get him a powder that works for him are these colostrum beef sticks! Might seem like an odd gift, but I think it would be a very well recieved stocking stuffer. ($39.00)
- Snowboarding/Skiing gloves. These ones are all the rage right according to the guys I know who actually ski and snowboard so you can't go wrong. It's a bit pricey, but these will last him for a few seasons so he'll be so thankful! ($159.95)
- If he's into the outdoors and has been wanting to get into climbing, I've heard these climbing shoes are amazing. ($140)
- You'd be suprised what the confidence that a nice apron can bring in the kitchen! ($19.95)
- Love this keychain as a nice way for him to keep his keys hooked onto his belt loop or bags. ($13.99)
- Again for the guy who likes cooking, I love the idea of getting him a really nice olive oil! This refence comes from a friend who drinks a tablespoon of plain olive oil a day so I trust him lol.
- Drawing Pencils! These are perfect for any artist, musician, journaler, etc. An underrated gift.
- If he's into music in any way more than just listening to music, he'll probably love anything from Teenage Engineering. This recommendation came from both my Berklee attending fiance and two of my old coworkers who know what brands are cool - it's the perfect mix of function and beauty. I love the look of this speaker but I also know their EP–133 K.O. is popular for anyone who's into creating music! ($250-550)
- You can't go wrong with a refill on their favorite socks, Stance are always a safe bet. ($14.99)
- If he isn't already into running, he probably will be sometime in the next year haha! I've heard great things about these Altra shoes because they were made with a wide toe vs a narrow one (feed weren't made to be squished!). For a safer bet, you can never go wrong with a nice pair of Hokas. ($130)
- Another item for the artist, this pastel set has great reviews! ($45.99)
- I love a gift is also beneficial for the friend or partner, like this comfy two seated camping chair!
- It's always nice to receive a gift on something you already know and love! Give him a visa gift card towards his yearly gym membership, or even just a giftcard to his favorite store.
- The sauna + cold plunge rage is still here, I think it would be so sweet to get him a subscription to your local spot! If you're in Utah, I like Plunj.
The Professional Guy

- If he's into tech, I love the idea of a nice Projector. Perfect for not only movies but for meetings as well. ($269)
- This watch came as a recommend from a friend who says it's his "favorite, most versatile watch. Also a high-quality Japanese watch company, reasonably priced." ($195)
- Love the idea of an airtag with a stylish airtag holder that he can connect to his keys or work bag for extra security. ($45 for the set)
- Of course he needs somewhere special to store his new watch! These cases can be personalized with his initials and look so sleek. ($99)
- What working professional doesn't want to smell like leather? (in a good way lol) Love this cologne. ($98)
- One of my friends sent me this laptop/technology case that's on his wishlist, and I love it! It's padded for extra security but still looks good. ($42)
- My fiance has this and is obsessed. Loves that he can charge his phone AND apple watch in one organized, clean place. ($48)
- I swear this isn't biased lol, but the Thread Utility Tote is THE BEST! If he travels for work or just needs a new work bag, this is the one. It has a laptop sleeve, water bottle holder, internal pockets for organizing, and a place to clip his keys. They've sold out 4x for a good reason. ($64.99)
- A timeless shoe that he can dress up or down! Go with a classic brand like G.H. Bass. ($185)
- As much as they might hate to admit it, guys love trinkets on their desk too. Love this Carhartt WIP tray for them to store paper clips, sticky notes, etc. ($30)
- Atomic habits! This is on every corporate guys want to read list.
- Level up an item that he uses every day! This chair has great reviews and won't break the bank. ($159)
- If you can't find a vintage work jacket, I love this Abercrombie one! This can fit into so many styles.
- He might be traveling for work and should have a bag that makes doing that a bit more exciting. I know when I have a fun suitcase, it helps me feel excited about an otherwise boring work trip. This one would be great for short work trips. ($215)
- Again with travel, love love love this organizational passport holder. ($29.90)
Dad/Father-In-Law

- Starlink. A bit random, but for the right guy would be a hit. It provides wifi wherever you're at so if your dad enjoys camping, lake powell, roadtripping, etc I think he'd be so excited about this! ($349)
- Dad's love tools. I asked my dad what he would want and one of his answers was a leaf blower or electric chainsaw. ($100-150)
- If he's into golfing (he probably is) and doesn't have a range finder or has an old one, I love the look of this one AND it has great reviews. ($199)
- Shoe cleaning kit! He's probably had the same shoes for the past few years so getting him a kit to clean it up would be so sweet. ($18)
- I love these slippers because they can be worn inside or outside, perfect for when he needs to take out the trash lol. ($80)
- A nice but not too thick puffer coat. ($79.90)
- He might not admit that he wants hand cream, but once he has it he'll love it. These from typology are gender neutral looking and something he could keep by his bed or on his desk. ($25.90)
- An electric meat thermometer. I've heard my brother RAVE about these and know it would go over well if your dad/fil likes to grill. ($69.99)
- My dad loves gardening, and I think this indoor garden would be so fun for him to use in the winter. ($99.95)
- You can't go wrong with a classic sweater. Love this one from Gap! ($63)
- I've seen these running shoes on dad's everywhere and think they're a level up from where dad shoes used to be. ($100)
- My dad loves watching his favorite football team by the tv with dinner or some popcorn, so getting him a custom TV tray with the team's logo would be so sweet and useful. If your dad also loves sports, I'm sure he'll love this! ($55)
- Another option for the guy who loves grilling is a subscription to a meat delivery service - this one is actually a great deal! ($99)
Thoughtful gifts:
One main takeaway from talking to the guys in my life is that they also really appreciate thoughtful gifts. Finding those can be a bit tricky, but I’ve pulled together my best recommendations to help inspire you!
- Turning his hobby into art. An example of this would be if he likes to shoot film, to take some of his favorite photos and turn them into a really nice zine or book. Another example would be if he's into music, make a custom record with songs that are meaningful to you.
- Handwritten card. These are sometimes the last thought, but usually end up meaning the most. I think these vintage inspired cards are so adorable!
- Sporting events. Even if you're both not super into sports it's so much fun to go support a local team and enjoy some arena treats!
- Cooking classes
- This is a bit overdone, but I think a coupon book of sorts is very fun. Make it less about chores since I'm sure you probably already do those haha and lean into experiences. Ex: date to try a new restaurant with a $100 visa giftcard, etc.
- My dad told me one of his favorite gifts was when we listed 100 reasons why we love him and printed it out. We did that over 10 years ago and he said it still makes him tear up when he reads it <3
- A trip! If he's into traveling, book flights to somewhere on his bucket list.
Thank you for reading my men's gift guide for 2024! I seriously love gift giving and coming up with these is so much fun for me. Make sure to subscribe so you're notified when my girl guide comes out!
