Orange County Mini Guide

I’ve been spending summers in California since I was 17, and it’s become such a special place to me. This past May, I was needing a change of scenery and took a sublease in Dana Point. Not only do some of my best friends live there, but it’s also home to some of the prettiest beaches, best food, and incredible shopping. I had the best time and can’t wait to share my favorite spots with you!

A surf shop and coffee shop in one! The breakfast sandwich is 🥰

Kawamata Seafood

Really good and fresh poke bowls!

Ahba

This is probably my #1 spot in Orange County! I love their garlic fries, Caesar salad, burger, and tacos.

Shops

Here's some of my favorite places to shop in Orange County. There's a lot of good shopping malls so most of these are spots that have quite a few of my favorite stores. Depending on what area you're in you can find a fun place to shop near you.

Lido Marina Village

Lido is super sweet to walk around and feels kinda truman show esque hahah. Here's a few of my favorite places there: Doen, Frankies Bikinis, Love Shack Fancy, Le Labo, The Real Real, Aesop, and they also have Nobu and Malibu Farms if you're feeling fancy.

Irvine Spectrum

Another good mall if you're in a really shoppy mood. They have brandy melville, urban, free people, anthro, etc

River Street Marketplace

This is a new outdoor mall in san juan capistrano that has quite a few good stores! Free people, Seagar, Tecovas, + more and quite a few good places to eat.

Thrifting/Vintage

California has some of the best vintage and I have found some of my favorite pieces here!

Vintage Yacht Club

A really cool shop in dana point harbor!

Landers

I love landers! They have a good amount of western vintage like levis, boots, jackets, etc

2nd Street

I've been to a few of these in japan and so it was fun to stop in and check out their selection!

Things To Do

My favorite things to do in Orange county are shop, eat good food, and sit at the beach. I wanted to add some more options though because there is a lot of fun things to do!

Booth by Bryant

I love having a photobooth strip from every trip to keep in my journal! This spot has a whole room of analog film photo booths.

Newport Duffy

Bring a few snacks, drinks, and ride around the harbor. So much fun!

Top of the world

Loveee going for walks here, the view is insane!
