Utah Mini Guide

Utah Mini Guide

Hi!! This one's extra fun because I’m highlighting my hometown. Utah is seriously one of the best places ever, and I feel so lucky to have grown up here!

If you're from Utah, some of these spots might feel a little basic, but most of my community isn't local so I wanted to round up the must-visit places they should try when they’re in town. That said, even if you’re familiar with the area, hopefully you’ll still discover a few new spots to check out!

This guide is full of my personal favorites: local restaurants, vintage shops, and things to do. I’ll continue to update it every time I find somewhere new I love, so be sure to check back for more recommendations.

These mini guides are always free on my website, but if you’re looking for the full guide with 40+ recommendations per city, I’d love for you to join as a subscriber. Hope you enjoy it!

Restaurants

Takashi (slc)

Best Japanese food in utah IMO! The sushi is super fresh and the interior is decorated so cute. Try to get there right when they open because they fill up fast!

The Pizza Yard (midway)

Love the hot honey one and their salads are so good too! Perfect spot for a date night <3

Contento (slc)

Super fresh mexican food! All made without seed oils and is gluten free

Shops

Some of my favorite places to spend the afternoon doing my favorite thing: browse around and spend too much on trinkets!

Curriculum

A very well curated shop! Also in such a fun area (slc)

The Stockist

Another very well curated shop, and right next to curriculum. Perfect for grabbing gifts! (slc)

Harmony

A local craft shop that has tons of cute trinkets! (provo)

Vintage

Utah has a good amount of vintage shops! Here's some of my favorites.

Confetti Antiques

I won't lie this is not in a convenient spot but I do love all of their vintage jewelry, clothes, and other random knick knacks (spanish fork)

Vantage

A utah must! They have great pieces, prices, and you might run into Olivia Rodrigo cause it's her fav vintage store haha! (slc)

Decades

Decades is vintage vintage. I'm talking pristine pieces from the 40s/50s/60s. I love it here! (slc)

Things To Do

It’s funny making a guide for the place I grew up, I probably haven’t done a lot of the typical touristy things! But here are some of my favorite spots and activities:

Sundance

Sundance is so special to me <3 From skiing in the winter, cozy date nights at the owl bar, their summer concert series on the lawn, there is so much happening!

Fifth Water Hot Springs

One of my favorite hikes to do in spring/fall

Drive In Movie

Writing this guide is how I found out my favorite drive in Theater in Taylorsville went out of business but I found this replacement one that has good reviews!!

Thank you for checking out my mini Utah guide! I live in Utah and will be updating this constantly as I remember more favs/try new places.

As a reminder, the full guide has over 40+ recs! Make sure to check it out and receive access to all of my other paid posts. Thank you for the support!
